The Canadian Transportation Agency is furthering its efforts to actively offer, promote and expand the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation, as a cost-effective and timely option for identifying issues and resolving disputes informally.

The Agency is undertaking a consultation on a draft resource tool that provides parties with general information about its mediation process. The tool, Resolution of Disputes through Mediation (Draft), clarifies what to expect from the mediation process and what is required from mediation participants.

Targeted stakeholders have been invited to provide comments on the usability and completeness of this proposed resource tool. Written submissions from interested parties can be sent to:
