Complaints by travellers with disabilities

The fares, rates, charges and terms and conditions of carriage set out in a carrier’s tariff cannot create undue obstacles to the mobility of persons with disabilities.

Under the Canada Transportation Act, the Agency may investigate complaints filed by or on behalf of persons with disabilities to determine whether undue obstacles exist in the transportation network. The Agency may order corrective measures if it finds that an undue obstacle exists.
