Waterton Inter-Nation Shoreline Cruise Company Ltd. applied for a licence to use the "M.V. INTERNATIONAL", an American passenger ship, to provide tours on the Waterton Lake, from Waterton, Alberta, Canada to Goat Haunt, Montana, United States of America, commencing June 1 and ending September 30, 2011.

FACTS AND DETERMINATION
A search of the Canadian marine industry was conducted and it was determined that there is no suitable Canadian ship available to provide the service or perform the activity described in the application. Further, there is no identical or similar adequate marine service available from any person operating one or more Canadian ships.
The Agency is providing this determination to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness to consider whether to issue the licence. This Decision is not an authority to operate.
