APPLICATION by Cargolux Airlines International S.A. pursuant to subsection 78(2) of the Canada Transportation Act, S.C., 1996, c. 10, for extra-bilateral authority to substitute the point Stansted, United Kingdom for Prestwick, United Kingdom on its Luxembourg-Prestwick-Seattle-Calgary-Prestwick- Luxembourg all-cargo flight, in order to carry a shipment of alpacas from Calgary, Canada to Stansted, United Kingdom on January 29, 2002.

Cargolux Airlines International S.A. (hereinafter Cargolux) has applied to the Canadian Transportation Agency (hereinafter the Agency) for the authority set out in the title. The application was received on January 18, 2002.
Under Licence No. 010105, Condition No. 1, Cargolux is authorized to operate a scheduled international service, limited to one all-cargo flight per week, on the route Luxembourg-Prestwick-Seattle-Calgary-Prestwick-Luxembourg, including the right to carry local traffic (fifth freedom) between Seattle, United States of America and Calgary and between Calgary and Prestwick.
The Agency has reviewed and considered the application and the material filed in support thereof, and pursuant to subsection 78(2) of the Canada Transportation Act, hereby varies Condition No. 1 of Licence No. 010105 to the extent necessary to permit Cargolux to operate flight CV7732 on the routing Seattle-Calgary-Stansted, on January 29, 2002, in order to carry a shipment of alpacas from Calgary to Stansted.
This Decision shall be affixed to Licence No. 010105 and remain affixed thereto until January 30, 2002.
The authority granted herein does not relieve Cargolux from the requirements of other legislative acts or regulations, including those of Transport Canada.
