Contravention
(A) On or about August 30, 2023, Air Canada failed to provide assistance services, on the request of a person with a disability (2DIAUJ) and without delay, to assist the person with disembarking flight AC1058, thereby contravening subsection 35(f) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (ATPDR).
(B) On or about August 30, 2023, Air Canada failed to provide assistance services, on the request of a person with a disability (2DIAUJ) and without delay, to assist the person with transferring between their passenger seat and a mobility aid upon the arrival of flight AC1058, thereby contravening subsection 35(h) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (ATPDR).
(C) On or about August 30, 2023, Air Canada failed to ensure that members of personnel periodically inquired about the needs of a person with a disability who was in a wheelchair (2DIAUJ) and waiting at a terminal for departure after check-in and in order to transfer to another segment of their trip, thereby contravening subsection 37(b) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (ATPDR).
